Overgrown nails are uncomfortable for your dog to walk on and can cause pain and difficulty moving. Left too long, they can break, and some nails can curve and start to grow into the paw pads, causing infections and ulcers that require vet intervention.

Long nails can alter the way your dog walks, their posture is affected and overtime this can cause strain on their joints.
​This all depends on your dog, how active they are and the surfaces they are walking on. Generally, dogs need their nails trimmed every 3-4 weeks.

Without your commitment to the advice given your dogs fears will remain.
